Yoga Teacher
How did you first come to yoga, & what was that experience like?
I was exploring alternative means to live a more spiritual life. I had the good fortune of this pursuit leading me to India and that catalyzed a quickly growing love for the practice.
What is your favorite experience of Yoga?
The sensation of loads of stress in the body and mind melting away somewhere throughout every practice! Nothing tops that.
A piece of Yogic Philosophy that's special to you?
Currently I am focusing on satya (honesty) because it is so incredibly easy to lie to myself or make false promises and when I do this it makes it hard to trust myself. When I don't trust myself I cannot expect others to trust me and my words become weaker.
Why do you teach?
I teach to spread the knowledge that you are capable of freeing yourself from the endless cycle of thought, worry, and hurry. I teach yoga to guide you to discover the depths of your true authenticity.
Where can I contact you, or learn more?
Reach out to Shanti Yoga Center with questions, and I will be in touch!
