How did you first come to yoga, & what was that experience like?

I began practicing yoga in 2010 to increase my flexibility and improve overall fitness. I fell in love with the calmness that it created in myself along with a centering and confidence that I had never experienced before. Yoga is more than the postures, it's a lifestyle.

What is your favorite experience of Yoga?

I loved my 200 hour yoga teacher training. The people brought all different life experiences and it was amazing.

A piece of Yogic Philosophy that's special to you?

The Yamas and Niyamas-every culture has "rules" or ways to live the yamas and niyamas brings yogic philosophy into everyday living and makes it more accessible

Why do you teach?

I believe everyone has the ability to calm their mind and find the peace and strength that comes with a regular practice. I teach because I love to create sequences that allow the body to flow from one point to another using breath and asanas to bring joy, amazement, calm and strengthen to every student in every class.
